Every Pearl Amber Sconce tells the story of hand-worked glass – a tale of fire, precision and craft. Blown glass is hand-dipped to add amber, creating globes of varying hues and depth. The process is organic and imperfect, a balance of chemistry and artistry. Each piece has a unique organic nature in tones from light honey to deep amber. Hand crafted for us by Cedric Mitchell in Los Angeles.
Meet The Pearl Family
Our take on the classic glass globe light. Part square, part circle, Pearl explores the Lamé Curve, the geometric shape behind mid-century designer Piet Hein's super egg and superellipse, in three dimensions. This pleasing shape is mathematical with its plotted arcs but also feels organic, like a natural form. Standard, Reeded or Amber glass available, with a canopy, pull chain or seamless.
