California Prop 65: Learn About Lead in Brass
The brass we use in our Slide Floor Lamp armature and our Hood Sconce pull switches contains trace percentages of lead. The lead is there to make the brass machinable. Without the lead content, brass becomes very difficult to cut.

The Prop 65 warning on Ravenhill Studio products does not mean that our products will cause harm. The State of California has clarified that “the fact that a product bears a Proposition 65 warning does not mean by itself that the product is unsafe.” The law presents a “Right to Know,” and transparency is one of our Studio values.
