Meet The Hood Family

Our Hood Family takes inspiration from the work of Aino Aalto, who was devoted to genuine materials and modernist to the bone. In our Hood Family, we use a simple material palette of white polyethylene shades, bent and bolted to a White Oak or Walnut armature, finished with brass hardware. The complex joinery of the Hood Pendant and Hood Chandelier results in lightweight frames that hold glowing, sail-like shades aloft.

The Hood Sconce features a single shade of white polyethylene which is bent and bolted to a White Oak or Walnut spine, with a brass pull chain. When illuminated, it casts a soft, diffused
light.
