I just got back from Greece and I basically lived in my swimsuit the entire time I was there. I grew up in the ocean and have always loved swimming, surfing, and generally being near saltwater wherever possible but the nice suits I'd invested in were usually for an activity - a Patagonia wetsuit that could get me through Northern California winters or a really nice structured suit for warmer days surfing from Seea.
The day before I left for Greece I got a bee in my bonnet about investing in a nice bikini for the trip, something I'd never done before. I happened to walk by Else in Santa Monica, stopped in, and immediately found the suit I wore throughout my whole trip. It was a game changer!
Such a good fit, really high quality fabric, and I loved putting it on every time I did, which is either the nirvana of self-acceptance at the tender age of 35, a really good suit, or some combination of both. Here it is pictured air drying in a little coastal village on Milos.
