Growing up on the plains of Oklahoma, Melissa had an itch to travel to the coast from an early age. Beginning her career in New York, she was quickly immersed in the fast-paced life and the fascination for how objects were manufactured from start to finish. Spending ten years in the event industry allowed her to explore her love for textiles and building relationships. On the weekends you can find Mel spending time with her 3 pups or hiking in the desert.
