Osteria Moto

For Osteria Moto, we sourced local materials to anchor this northern California restaurant in place, using alder wood and limestone, with leather, linen and brass details. We created a rhythm of light and shadow to underscore the restaurant’s warmth and conviviality. 

We used an open layout and clerestory windows to flood the space with light, adding built-in seating and placing lighting intentionally to define distinct and intimate zones, from a communal table for waiting patrons, to the large inviting bar, and cozy banquettes.
